The title of this article is probably slightly misleading - these photos weren’t taken in Warsaw, they were taken between Warschauer Straße and Prinzenstraße. Snow, nice light.
A great little gig in the Botanic Gardens in Marburg. The concert took place in a tent, which was decorated with some of the fantastic plants that the gardens have in their collection.
My part was the usual branding/projection conception and production – this time we had a standard video setup of two beamers and five plasma screens, plus a whole load of LED lights.
Wow, what a night!
Our task was the projection mapping onto the facade of this fantastic old Prussian fortress, and the usual Street Gigs branding – flexible right up to the last minute. Fred displayed his usual strong nerves and built the whole video set-up in VDMX – played the whole mapping show on the fly. Respect!
The Subways played a brilliant set (fantastic live band) – support band The Toyotas were great too.

Three days of fun with tractors, City-Colors and lots of DVI cable…..
This was a fanstastic location for a summer gig – an old farmyard just outside Brunswick. The weather was great on the night and the White Lies put on a really good show.
We had our usual multi-signal Street Gigs setup – two Mac Pros running VDMX to seven different screens (four plasmas, 2 Pixled Screens in the front truss, and one large LED-viewing wall). Illuminating the surrounding buildings and scenery was the final part of our brief. We even had time to make some on-the-fly tractor images for the LED-wall!
Großbildprojektion Mapping für die MTV European Music Awards, 05.11.2009
For this production we used six Vexs and Pani BP6 projectors to cover the whole side of the Postbahnhof for the EMA aftershow party. A great image – the colourful blocks really “popped out” when it got dark!
I did the whole project management (projection mapping, technical planning, image production) as part of Skudi Optics GmbH. Thanks to Rolf Wenzel for the great job!

Großbildprojektion für Boss Orange, Juli 2009
This was simple but effective – a projection across the river Spree at the Boss Orange fashion show. All slide images were taken from the current T-Shirt collection. A nice eye-catcher for the guests enjoying the aftershow party.
I did the projection mapping, image-fitting and processing (as well as the projector set-up) as part of Skudi Optics GmbH.
Großbildprojektion auf das Brandenburger Tor!
Large-scale projection on the Brandenburg Gate – I jumped at the chance to do that!
We used two Pani BP12s with slide changers to project a series of slides on the Gate as part of the 50 Years of the EU celebration. A very challenging, but rewarding project!

Nice and simple, slide projection on the facade of the French Embassy in Berlin. We collaborated with the architects on this one. We mapped every single brick on the lower part of the building!
